SNAPCHAT….JUST A FAD?

Snapchat hasn’t been around for very long but has become a very popular among young adults and young teens it gives you the opportunity to send images using the application users can take photos, record videos, add text and drawing.

Snapchat burst into this social media world,  it became a huge success from the get go, but the question is will it be around for long or will it just fizzle out, like many other crazies we’ve seen in the past. Personally i think Snapchat is here for the long run, whatever way you look at it people will always have something to send to others, weather its a silly picture of themselves or an unusual situation around them.

I have a strong feeling that snapchat wont turn out to be just a fad its like facebook, twitter, instagram and vine these are all parts of social media that are still up there with the top used apps by people with smart phones. its just like getting a text everyday i check my snapchat app just as i do any other app. Snapchat may get boring and you may be sick of it sometimes but its those moments where you receive unexpected videos from your friends across the world or right here showing you the things they’re enjoying and experiencing everyday. looking at it snapchat gives people great entertainment and enjoyment out of sharing with their friends.

Snapchat wont become a fad to me as they’re always on top of their game adding new features such as the snapchat stories and helping improve our connection with each other and just the other day they have added a feature that allows people to video chat and message each other so in my eyes i think snapchat is becoming the new texting and something thats here to stay for good 🙂

Heres a video on the new and improved snapchat and how to use its features this is a great and funny video, happy snapping everybody 🙂

Be responsive when they comment on things such as posts and pictures and make sure you’re not just promoting all the time and are sharing things that would interest your customers.

4. Advertise

Advertising is very important, make sure you get the message across clearly but don’t make it too pushy and too frequent as customers will get sick of seeing the same thing over and over again.

When posting on your page, be sure to use a variety of content. What images would your audience like to see? What stats would they like to read? What links would they like to click? You can also click the little star to the upper right of any post to highlight it horizontally across your entire page. Not only will this make it look like you have a cover photo on your actual timeline of posts, but it will highlight the page as a milestone in your company history. Use this feature for product announcements, business anniversaries, and other major events pertinent to your brand.

9 Pop up box.

The pop-up box is thought of as an annoyance by many Facebook users. On the contrary, it can serve you well. You can hide some of the content on your fan page under a pop-up box. Sometimes, there is a content overload and it is sensible to hide some of it from public view. The pop-up dialog box would include the content which is otherwise hidden from the visitors to your page. The best thing is that the pop-up boxes don’t interfere with the users’ activities and actions on your fan page. In fact, they enhance the experience.
